What is the return window? ⌄
Most items can be returned or exchanged within 45 days of purchase. Items must be brand new, unused, undamaged, with original tags attached and packaging intact, and purchased directly from the BÉIS website.
How long does shipping take? ⌄
Express and Next Day Air orders take 1 to 2 business days to process plus 1 to 2 business days to ship. Standard Shipping takes 2 to 5 business days to process plus 2 to 5 business days to ship. During product launches, restocks, US holidays, or high-order periods, processing can take up to 5 to 7 business days.
How are refunds issued? ⌄
Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus a $10 handling fee, unless the original payment method is no longer active, in which case store credit is issued instead. Refunds are processed only after the returned item is received and verified at the warehouse, which takes 2 to 3 business days after delivery, and can take up to 10 business days to appear once processed.
Does luggage have a warranty? ⌄
Yes, carry-on and check-in luggage is covered by a Limited Lifetime Luggage Warranty, separate from the standard return policy.
Can items be exchanged for a different color? ⌄
Exchanges are currently only offered for the same product in a different color, subject to availability. Exchange requests are free of charge. If a different item is wanted instead, the original item must be returned and a new order placed.
What size laptop fits inside? ⌄
The padded laptop pocket fits up to a 15" laptop. Slide it in, zip the tote closed with the BÉIS metal pull, and you're set for the commute.
How much does the empty bag weigh? ⌄
The tote weighs 2.75 lbs empty, with a 27.75 L capacity. Worth knowing before you add a 15" laptop, charger and water bottle on top of it.
What pockets and extras does it have? ⌄
Inside there are two slip pockets, two pen pockets and one zip pocket, plus the padded laptop pocket, the key leash and a removable vegan leather pouch for smaller essentials. Outside, two side pockets (one zip, one slip) and the trolley pass-through that zips into a pocket of its own.
How do you clean vegan leather? ⌄
Spot clean only. The body is embossed vegan leather with a 100% coated poly lining.
Can it go over a suitcase handle? ⌄
Yes. The trolley pass-through slides over your Roller's handle so the tote rides your suitcase instead of your shoulder, and it's been rebuilt sturdier in this version. When you're not traveling, zip it shut and it becomes an extra back pocket.
How does it hold up to daily carrying? ⌄
The straps were widened in this version and the edges are rolled for a cleaner, sturdier finish. Metal feet on the base keep the vegan leather off café floors and airport tile, and the whole body is spot-cleanable when it does pick something up.
What are the different ways to carry it? ⌄
Three ways. The vegan leather shoulder straps have a 10" drop for hand or shoulder carry, the adjustable padded strap extends to 45" for crossbody, and that strap comes off entirely when you want the cleaner, hand-carried look.

"I’ve had my black LG Work Tote for three years, and it has been one of the best work bags I’ve owned. I carry a lot every day, and the straps have never let me down. With my recent increase in work travel, I’ve started to notice the seams showing a little after three years of heavy use. They’re not coming apart by any means—just a sign that it’s probably time to replace it. I’ve searched for a comparable tote, but I haven’t had any luck. At 6’0”, this bag is the perfect size for me. The height and width are about 2 to 2. 5 inches larger than many of the other totes I’ve looked at, and that extra space makes a noticeable difference. Would I like a few more interior compartments? Absolutely. But that isn’t a dealbreaker. The durability, size, and overall functionality have made this tote an easy choice, and I’ll definitely be purchasing another one."

Amazing, except for laptop sleeve!

"Love everything about this bag, but wish the laptop sleeve was just a little bigger! It just barely fits my MacBook Air 15". And I have to take my very thin case off of the MacBook to get it to even barely fit in the sleeve. Other than that it's gorgeous, and the sleeve is the only downfall!"

Beautifully Designed Workhorse Tote with One Small

"The Large Work Tote is a true workhorse without sacrificing style. I love the thoughtful design details that make it easy to carry multiple laptops, travel essentials, and everything else needed for a busy day. I searched for a long time before finding this bag, and it comes very close to being perfect. The only change I would make would be to add a second set of shorter shoulder/elbow straps, similar to those on the East/West Tote. When the bag is fully loaded, having a shorter carry option would make it much easier to grab and maneuver in and out of a car or through tighter spaces. The longer straps are great for shoulder carry, but they can be a bit cumbersome in those situations. And one final request: please make this bag in Espresso, Burgundy, and Deep Olive. I would happily buy all three. 😊"
