"I tried a TON of similar weekender bags from more expensive and from cheaper brands, and landed on this one. It’s the perfect size to fit on my carryon suitcase and also to bring to work with my gym clothes/shoes. The material is super sturdy and the pockets are very functional. Also it’s one of the few bags which fits both of my large laptops in the sleeve. I loved the olive color but opted for black to hide any stains."

"When the redesigned pieces were released, I was curious and decided to purchase the Maple I had been eyeing, as my Slate Mini-Weekender (original version) has become my favorite personal item for flying. In comparing the original and the redesign, I do appreciate several features that are significant improvements, including the larger front pocket, more comfortable cross-body strap, snap-down zipper ends, and roll-up bottom separator so as to combine both sections into a single larger compartment. However, truth be told I still much prefer the styling and less bulky aesthetic of the original which, to me, is "worth its weight" (pun intended) as I always pair it with a carry-on roller anyways. Nevertheless, it is yet another beautiful Beis bag in my collection and I look forward to using it."
"I like that there are pockets inside of the bag where you can put some stuff in each of them. And I like how you can organize how you want to put your extra clothes and stuff in the bag. I also like that there are outside zippers to put your stuff into them. In the bottom you can put a pair of slippers or any thing you need that can go in the bottom zipper section of your bag. I noticed that you can put the two straps from the bag over the handle of your suitcase and put your bag sitting on top of your suitcase."
"Not happy with the redesign of this bag. I have the original weekender I purchased in February 2026 and just bought the “new and imporved” style of the weekender. This looks and feels CHEAP. It does not look stylish or sleek the preiovs model. Different materials. The struxture ofnit is different as well, and it doesnt stay propoes up like it doesnin the oictures. Its just a slumped ball of crumpled material. I would return it if I hadnt removed the tags. Not worth the peice tag, id rather have been a wiarter of the price for sowmthing on Amazon."
"Overall I like the design and construction of the bag—it seems like it will be easy to clean and will hold up over time. I wish there was an option to fully zip off the shoe compartment when it isn’t needed as it is quite bulky—I wasn’t able to fit it under the seat on an aisle SWA seat recently, but it did fit under the center and window seats. Love the rich chocolate brown color and the wide trolley sleeve (vs a strap design). I’m considering buying the tote for trips when I don’t need the shoe compartment."
