It's firm and has a separate shoe department that makes my anxiety of my clothes getting dirtied from my shoes non existent. "I exchanged the regular weekender for the mini weekender and it fits perfectly with my carry-on, which is on the smaller side. I love the bottom section for shoes because it really saves on space in your carry-on. Don’t let the word mini fool you because it holds quite a bit of stuff and I will be able to get by with the carry-on and the mini weekender for two weeks in Europe. I agree with other people you’ll have to keep it with your carry-on because it’s heavy to carry without wheels. customer service was great to work with even though exchanging was a bit complicated and time-consuming, but in the end, it turned out great."

"I took this to NYC as a carry-on with my roller bag, and I loved it! YES, is it bulky and can be heavy, yes! BUT it’s all depending on what you put into it. It fits so much that it can get heavy. . but if you pair it with a roller bag, it’s the perfect combo! ITS NOT A TOTE BAG OR MEANT TO BE A SIDE BAG! "This is exactly the travel bag I was looking for! I use it as my personal item for flights. If you’re deciding between this and the full-size weekender for that putpose, DEFINITELY go with the mini. It fits under the seat (on United at least) but just barely, and not if my laptop is in the sleeve. It works best if i move the laptop to the center so the top of the bag will squish down a bit. It looks beautiful and feels sturdy and well made, and I love putting my heels in the bottom instead of in my rollerbag with my clothes. Last trip I packed a pair of heels, a pair of flats, my computer charger, socks, and my makeup bag in the bottom. 🔥 Slips easily over the handle of a rollerbag. I wish it had a few more pockets/organization, but otherwise its really a fantastic bag."
