When it comes to throwing a bachelorette party, the sky's the limit. There are so many destinations to choose from! Whether you're looking for an urban getaway or a laid-back beach weekend, we've got all of your options covered.
1. New York
You can't go wrong with any of the boroughs, but if you're looking for a place that's cool, fun, and safe for all types of bachelorette parties, we recommend Brooklyn or Manhattan. If you're in Brooklyn you'll find plenty of good bars and restaurants that are easily accessible by subway. If you decide to head uptown to Manhattan, there are plenty of great places on the Lower East Side where you can party all night long!
If your group is into nightlife—or if they want an excuse to get dressed up—head over to Union Square Park where there are lots of bars nearby like Beauty Bar and Bowery Ballroom. If shopping is more your thing (and let's be honest: most girls love it), then head over to Fifth Avenue for some high-end retail therapy at Bergdorf Goodman or Tiffany & Co., plus tons more designer stores along this famous street! Or try Times Square which has everything from Broadway shows like Aladdin (with its live tiger)
2. New Orleans
New Orleans is a great choice for your bachelorette party. There are so many things to do and see, that you can easily keep your group busy for several days. New Orleans is a fun city, with lots of music and food—and it's especially enjoyable in the fall or winter when temperatures are low enough to wear bulky sweaters, but not so cold that you have to bundle up too much.
3. Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a great place to go for a bachelorette party. You can gamble, see a show or just hang out with your friends at the hotel. It's also really easy to get around in Las Vegas since it's such a big city. The Bellagio is one of my favorite hotels because it has amazing flower gardens outside which are beautiful to walk through if you're looking for something fun to do outside during the day.
Bachelor parties are usually held after the wedding ceremony, but sometimes they happen before as well (especially if there are bachelor party activities that need practice).
4. Palm Springs
Palm Springs is a desert oasis with a vibrant nightlife.
Palm Springs is known for its celebrity culture, and it's no wonder why: there are plenty of stars in the area. You can take your pick from visiting the homes of celebrities like Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra (and their estates), or you might want to check out some of the many restaurants owned by famous people like Michael Caine's Little Door or Joan Rivers' Joans on Third. There are also some great bars where you can drink at tables that were used in Hollywood blockbusters such as Pretty Woman and The Hangover!
There's plenty to do during the day too—take an afternoon hike through Brand Park or head over to Palm Canyon Drive to shop at boutiques like Oasis Couture & Gift Shop, Towncrafts Gallery + Boutique or The Bungalow Housewares & Gifts Store where you can find everything from handmade jewelry pieces by local artists to picture frames made from driftwood collected along California beaches! If shopping isn't really your thing then maybe go on a horseback riding tour through Trail Rides Unlimited Inc., visit one of our many museums devoted entirely towards various arts scenes (art deco architecture fans will love seeing The Alexander Estate) or watch an outdoor concert at McCallum Theatre & Recreation Center —there’s so much more than just clubs here!
5. Napa Valley
Napa Valley is the perfect destination for your bachelorette party. You'll be able to taste some of the finest wine in the world at one of several wineries, or you can rent a limo and tour the entire valley.
However, there are more than just wineries in Napa Valley. There are many restaurants to choose from, as well as hotels and vacation homes that you can stay in while you're there.
6. Key West
Key West is the best time to visit. It's the most popular place in the United States, and it's a great place for a bachelorette party, too. You can find lots of things to do here, like exploring museums or taking pictures at sunset over the water. There are also lots of bars where you can get cocktails and have fun with your friends before going out into town on an adventure!
7. Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is the second deepest lake in the US and its largest alpine lake. It's also a popular tourist destination, with more than 3 million visitors each year. The lake is located on the border between California and Nevada (and also touches parts of Oregon). Its crystal-clear water is home to many species of fish, including trout, kokanee salmon, whitefish and bass.
8. San Diego
If you're looking for a city that's welcoming and fun, San Diego is the perfect spot. The city has beautiful beaches, sunny weather, and tons of great restaurants, bars and clubs. The LGBT community is large here too. You can enjoy some great food at places like Tacos Perla (which serves Mexican-style seafood) or try out the unique flavors at Coronado Brewing Company (a brewery with an awesome view). For nightlife there are plenty of options too - North Park Tavern has a really cool vibe while Bar Pink has killer cocktails!
9. South Beach, Miami Beach
If you're looking for a destination that has it all, look no further than South Beach. This area is known for its nightlife and beaches—and with good reason. If you've always wanted to go out dancing but never had the opportunity, this is the place for you! South Beach also has many fun things to do during the day, like shopping on Lincoln Road or visiting one of the many museums in town.
South Beach isn't just popular because of its nightlife though—it's also home to some great beaches! If your bride-to-be loves being on the beach, then Miami Beach should be right up her alley (or should we say: down her alley?). The beautiful white sand makes this location perfect for walking along while enjoying a margarita in hand or taking part in one of our many water sports activities such as parasailing with friends!
10. San Francisco
San Francisco is considered by many to be one of the best places to go for a bachelorette party. It's a popular destination for bachelorette parties, and it's no surprise why: there's so much to do, see and eat in this beautiful city.
San Francisco has great restaurants, bars and clubs that make it easy for you to entertain your guests. From upscale restaurants like The Stinking Rose (where they serve garlic fries) or an amazing view at Grace Cathedral (where they have weddings), there are plenty of options depending on how fancy you want your event to be.
If you want something more casual but still fun, check out Alibi Tiki Bar & Lounge where you can drink cocktails from coconuts while watching live music performances by famous bands from around the world such as Motown Remixed or Jazzanova! Or visit The Front Porch where locals hang out with their dogs in between bites at weekly food truck gatherings held every Thursday evening during summer months only from 5pm til 10pm at Pier 7 Marina Park near Fisherman's Wharf area where everyone goes after work instead of going home because all homes smell like fish anyways except yours which doesn't--but then again maybe does...
11. Palm Beach, Florida
There’s no doubt that Miami is one of the most popular bachelorette party destinations in the country. It's a big city with plenty of nightlife options, but it's also got a lot going on outside of South Beach as well. There are tons of great restaurants, bars and clubs to choose from, so if you want to go somewhere that has some variety in its offerings—and isn't just built on spring breakers—then this might be where you want to consider heading for your upcoming festivities.
12. South Carolina, North Carolina
South Carolina is the best place to have a bachelorette party. Its beaches are beautiful and its food is delicious, but you can also experience history by visiting Charleston or going on a swamp tour.
North Carolina is a close second, with its mountains and beaches, restaurants and wineries, breweries and distilleries. You can even go horseback riding if you want to get in touch with your inner cowgirl!
How do you get there? You'll need to fly or drive—South Carolina has airports in Charleston (CHS), Greenville/Spartanburg (GSP), Myrtle Beach (MYR), Hilton Head Island (HHH) and Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE); North Carolina has Raleigh/Durham International Airport (RDU) in addition to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).
13. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico or Costa Rica
Cabo San Lucas and Costa Rica are both popular destinations for bachelorette parties. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Cabo San Lucas may be a good option—it has white sand beaches, lots of nightlife, and an abundance of activities that will keep your friends entertained. While Costa Rica is also known for its beautiful beaches and adventure opportunities—think zip-lining through the rainforest, sailing in mangrove swamps—you can find a more laid-back vibe there as well. Both destinations offer something different from each other, so if one isn't quite right for your group's personality or interests, try the other!
14. Atlantic City, New Jersey
Atlantic City is known for its boardwalk, casinos and nightlife. The city has a reputation as a party town, so it's no surprise that bachelorette parties are so popular there. The boardwalk has many restaurants, bars, clubs and shops; all within walking distance of each other.
In addition to the 30-mile-long Atlantic City Boardwalk (which offers rides such as bumper cars, carousels and Ferris wheels), there are over 100 miles of biking trails on the sea shoreline where you can rent bikes at any one of several bike rental companies. You can also take part in "Bike Week"--a yearly event celebrating bikes held in May or June each year with parades, shows and contests along with music concerts featuring big name artists like Sammy Hagar & The Circle at Boardwalk Hall Arena!
15. Park City, Utah
If you're seeking a destination that offers plenty of activities during the day, but also has a thriving nightlife scene for those who want to stay out late and party, Park City is the place for you.
The town is home to over 20 ski resorts, including Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons Resort. It's also home to world-class mountain bike trails such as Soldier Hollow and Powder Mountain Ski Area. Plus, it's only about an hour from Salt Lake City if you want to venture into town for shopping or dining at one of its many restaurants or bars.
Park City offers plenty of hotels and motels within walking distance from all the action on Main Street USA!
16. San Juan, Puerto Rico or Riviera Maya, Mexico or Los Angeles, California or Santa Monica or Santa Barbara.
Of these four options, San Juan is the best bachelorette party destination in Puerto Rico. With its vibrant nightlife and beautiful beaches, it's the perfect place to have fun with your friends. If you're looking for a more luxurious experience, Riviera Maya is the best bachelorette party destination in Mexico. You can relax at one of its many luxury resorts along the coast or play around at one of its many water parks!
If you're looking for something more affordable and family-friendly, then Los Angeles is your best bet. This city offers endless things to do—from shopping at Rodeo Drive to visiting Universal Studios Hollywood Park—and there are plenty of hotels within walking distance so you won't have to worry about driving home after a long day out on the town! Lastly...
17. East Coast Beaches (Atlantic City and Folly Beach are the most popular)
A solid beach town is a must. For some, Atlantic City is the obvious choice—it’s got it all: beaches, gambling, and boardwalk fun. Folly Beach isn't far behind with its relaxed vibe and endless stretches of sand. Key West offers a similar vibe but with all things southern thrown in too (crawfish boils at sunset anyone?). Las Vegas can be surprisingly fun when you're en route to or from a bachelorette party; there are tons of great hotels that offer free nights on weekends as well as other deals that make Las Vegas more affordable than usual (though you'll still have to send your friend off with enough money for both dinner and drinks). Miami Beach has one of the best nightlife scenes in America and will definitely feel like home if the bride-to-be grew up there—but doesn't have much else going for it besides great weather if you live elsewhere!
16. Lake Geneva, Wisconsin or Lake Tahoe or South Lake Tahoe in California and Nevada.
Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
Lake Tahoe, California and Nevada
South Lake Tahoe (or just "South Lake"), Nevada
South Lake Tahoe is a good place for a bachelorette party because it's close to the casinos in Reno. The casinos are just about an hour away by car or shuttle. You can also stay at one of the local hotels and take day trips into Reno if you want to stay out all night partying!
18. New York City is the best bachelorette party destination in the US.
New York City is the best bachelorette party destination in the US. If you want an unforgettable weekend with your friends and family, then this is the place for you. New York has everything you need for a great bachelorette party: amazing restaurants, bars, attractions and nightlife entertainment.
