What is the return window? ⌄
Most items can be returned or exchanged within 45 days of purchase. Items must be brand new, unused, undamaged, with original tags attached and packaging intact, and purchased directly from the BÉIS website.
How long does shipping take? ⌄
Express and Next Day Air orders take 1 to 2 business days to process plus 1 to 2 business days to ship. Standard Shipping takes 2 to 5 business days to process plus 2 to 5 business days to ship. During product launches, restocks, US holidays, or high-order periods, processing can take up to 5 to 7 business days.
How are refunds issued? ⌄
Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus a $10 handling fee, unless the original payment method is no longer active, in which case store credit is issued instead. Refunds are processed only after the returned item is received and verified at the warehouse, which takes 2 to 3 business days after delivery, and can take up to 10 business days to appear once processed.
Does luggage have a warranty? ⌄
Yes, carry-on and check-in luggage is covered by a Limited Lifetime Luggage Warranty, separate from the standard return policy.
What if an item arrives broken or defective? ⌄
Items that arrive broken or defective are covered under the Quality Guarantee: request a refund or replacement within 45 days of the purchase date through the Returns and Exchanges page. Follow the prompts to submit the claim.
What size laptop fits inside? ⌄
The padded interior laptop pocket fits laptops up to 13 inches. Anything bigger, like a 15" or 16" machine, won't fit that sleeve.
How is the inside organized? ⌄
Inside there are 2 slip pockets, 2 pen pockets, and 1 zip pocket, plus a padded laptop pocket and a built-in key leash. Outside there are two side pockets, one zip and one slip, and a removable vegan leather pouch for smaller essentials.
How does the trolley pass-through work? ⌄
The trolley pass-through is a sleeve on the back panel that slides over the handle of a Roller so the tote rides on top of the suitcase instead of your shoulder. Zip it closed and it becomes an extra pocket.
How long is the strap? ⌄
The Work Tote comes with a removable, adjustable padded shoulder strap that extends to a maximum of 45 inches. The vegan leather top handles have a 10" drop, so you can carry it by hand or wear it crossbody.
How should it be cleaned? ⌄
Spot clean only. The body is embossed vegan leather with a coated poly nylon lining and zinc alloy hardware, so wipe marks off as they happen rather than putting the whole bag through water.
Will it hold a full workday of stuff? ⌄
Capacity is 15L in an 11" H x 14.25" W x 6" D footprint, at 2.75 lbs empty. That's room for a 13" laptop in the padded pocket, a water bottle, and the daily pile of pens, keys, and chargers that usually ends up loose at the bottom of a bag.
Does it work for a flight, not just the office? ⌄
Yes. The trolley pass-through slides over your Roller handle so the tote rides with your suitcase through the terminal, and it zips shut with a signature BÉIS metal pull, which matters when you're sprinting a concourse.
