The Expandable Backpack  in Maple

Loved for 3 years

"I purchased this backpack 3 years ago for work and loved it so much. I got compliments all the time and the beige stayed surprisingly clean (other than the bottom)! Perfect interior and exterior pocket placement and really liked the flat pockets to hold random papers. Unfortunately, the zipper on the laptop sleeve broke recently and I think the cost to have it repaired will be nearly as expensive as getting a decent replacement from a less expensive retailer - so will be retiring my beloved Beis. Had the zipper lasted I would have been using this bag for work and plane travel for many more years."

Great design and functionality

"This is the backpack I was looking for since I don’t know when. I’m particular when it comes to straps and look, and this one is perfect. Plenty of support without being bulky, practical and stylish. It stands up on its own. The optional bottle holder is perfect. I love the pockets without losing things in them. Very user-friendly. I just hope it lasts a long time! I’ve had it for a year so far."

Great bag

"It’s very functional, has great pockets, is comfortable to wear, and is really cute. I first got the maple, and unfortunately needed to replace it, and the second time I chose the beige one. I really prefer the maple - it has a very different texture/feel. It feels much more like cloth, while the beige one feels very plastic. It has a totally different texture/feel. The description says they’re made of the same material, but I’m very skeptical - the beige feels like a totally different bag. That’s really my only complaint."

Love it, BUT wish it had thicker straps

"Despite loving this bag, my only wish was that the straps were a little more supportive/thicker. After multiple uses, since it is one of my faves Beis items, the straps are on the thin side and wish they had more cushion. Otherwise, I enjoy that it is expandable, the color and the zippers are so smooth! I appreciate all the pockets because what person doesn’t like pockets?! I would recommend but would have those who may have issues with not having a lot of shoulder or upper body support from the thinner straps. It’s the one thing holding me back from giving 5 stars. My Jansport backpack’s straps feel supportive whereas the Beis backpack feels like the straps may rip off at any time if I carry anything significantly heavy. Sometimes I carry quite a bit of electronics and it gives a lot."

Great travel bag

"I used the bag for the first time this week for my trip back to visit family in San Diego and It is my go-to from now on. I thought it would be just like another backpack, but I was able to put so much in it without it feeling heavy. I am thinking of ordering another one in a different color and get it personalized."

Love it. Get yourself one.

"I absolutely love this bag! I love the multiple pockets and that it can expand. The maple color is beautiful. I use this for work to carry all the extra things like lunch, water bottle and jacket. It fits comfortably on my back and I love that it stays standing up when you put it unlike most "school" backpacks that slouch. I love love love and totally recommend!!!"

"I am lookkng forwaed to traveling with this backpack. It has lots of space ans is expandable of needed. I like the front pockets and the trolley sleeve. The interior pocket for water bottles will be great - I like that better than one hanging off the outaide of the bag."
