GREAT bag for shlepping

"I needed a new BIG bag for 3 reasons: a carry-on for my plane trips, carrying craft supplies, and lugging everything i need for the day around NYC (from work, to dance class, to a night out). This bag works great for all three! I am 5’2” and 125 lbs. a lot of these reviews don’t really show the scale of this bag on a smaller person. To be fair it looks like it is going to swallow me whole, it is big. but it’s better than carrying 3 trader joe’s bags around NYC. If you need a big bag to fit all your random stuff in for a day or weekend trip, this is the one ! Boot for scale in that one picture!! I can’t wait to use this as my carry on."

What are the dimensions of the laptop pocket? I have a 17" laptop (14" (36 cm) width x 9" (23 cm) length, 17" diagonal). Based on the width of the entire bag, this laptop should fit easily, but I want to be sure since it only says it fits a 15" laptop in the description. Thanks!
