Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, NOR WILL A PURCHASE IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. SUBJECT TO ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS, REGULATIONS, AND ORDINANCES. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND WASHINGTON, D.C. WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. NOT OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF NEW YORK, FLORIDA, OR RHODE ISLAND. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: The entry period for BEIS’s “BEIS x OpenFortune Sweepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") starts on May 15, 2026 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time ("PT") and will end on August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT ("Sweepstakes Entry Period"). Five (5) potential winners will be selected on or around September 15, 2026 and notified by email. Potential winners will be selected subject to these Official Rules. Entry into the Sweepstakes does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest, or sweepstakes. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, TWITTER, OR OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.
2. SPONSOR: The sponsor for the Sweepstakes is BEIS, LLC, located at 222 Pacific Coast Highway, 10th Fl, El Segundo, CA 90245 USA ("Sponsor" or “BEIS”). For purposes of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor has partnered with Fortune Media Inc. d/b/a OpenFortune (“OpenFortune”) to distribute approximately 1.1 million fortune cookies announcing the Sweepstakes via a BEIS-branded “fortune” containing a QR code that links to the Sweepstakes’ dedicated landing page. OpenFortune is not responsible for the administration of this Sweepstakes.
3. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to current legal residents of each of the United States and Washington, D.C., except residents of New York, Florida and Rhode Island. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older or age of majority or older (in those jurisdictions where age of majority is over 18). The BEIS-branded fortune cookies will be limited to select markets within the United States. Employees of Sponsor or OpenFortune, including employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, OpenFortune, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion, fulfillment, and judging agencies, and members of the immediate family (parent, child, sibling, spouse, or domestic partner) of, or persons living in the same household as, any of the foregoing are not eligible. Void elsewhere and where prohibited by law.
4. HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter:
(a) Online: Visit the Sweepstakes’ landing page (https://beistravel.attn.tv/p/2on/landing-page) by finding a QR code on a BEIS-branded “fortune” inside one of the approximately 1.1 million fortune cookies produced for the Sweepstakes by the OpenFortune. Entrants may also enter without the “fortune” QR code if they are directed to the Sweepstakes landing page by some other vehicle (e.g. social media, email, or advertising). All entrants must have an individually held and valid email address, and a valid mailing address that they must enter into the Sweepstakes web page to be eligible to win.
(b) Write-in: A participant can also enter the Sweepstakes by legibly handwriting their first and last name, mailing address, valid email address, and “BEIS x OpenFortune Sweepstakes” on a 3” x 5” piece of paper and mailing the same in a legibly hand-addressed, stamped envelope with sufficient postage and a return address to: BEIS, Attn: BEIS x OpenFortune Sweepstakes, 222 Pacific Coast Highway, 10th Fl, El Segundo, CA 90245 USA. Mail-in entries must be (i) postmarked no later than August 31, 2026, and (ii) received by Sponsor no later than September 7, 2026. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, illegible, mutilated, postage-due, or misdirected mail. No mechanically reproduced or photocopied entries accepted.
Limit one (1) entry per person or email address. Multiple entries received from any person or email address after the first entry received from that person will be void and will not be counted. Any attempt to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email or mailing addresses, accounts, identities, registrations, or any other methods, will disqualify all that participant's entries and that participant will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes and may be disqualified from future Sponsor promotions. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the online entry or mail-in entry form used to enter this Sweepstakes will be deemed the entrant. Any use of an automated system to participate is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes and all future Sponsor promotions. By entering this Sweepstakes, you consent to receive email from Sponsor and OpenFortune solely for the administration of this Sweepstakes (including entry confirmation, winner notification, and prize fulfillment). Marketing or promotional email is sent only if you separately opt in at the time of entry; you may unsubscribe from any such marketing email at any time without affecting your eligibility for this Sweepstakes.
5. PRIZES AND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Five (5) prizes will be awarded, each consisting of the following: (i) BÉIS luggage and bag set (approximate retail value $1,500); and (ii) a Visa® or Mastercard®-branded Travel Reward prepaid card with a face value of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00 USD) (the “Travel Card”), issued by a third-party card issuer subject to the cardholder agreement provided with the Travel Card. Total ARV per prize: US$11,500; total ARV of all prizes: $57,500. Limit one (1) prize per person/household. No substitution, assignment or transfer of any prize is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion, and prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. The Travel Card is issued by a third-party card issuer and is governed by the cardholder agreement provided with the card, which may include an expiration date, merchant-category restrictions, and other terms. Sponsor and OpenFortune are not the issuer of the Travel Card and are not responsible for any unused balance, expiration, loss, theft, alteration, or unauthorized use of the Travel Card after it has been delivered to the winner. The Travel Card will be delivered to the winner approximately 8–12 weeks after Sponsor’s receipt of all required Prize Award Documents. All taxes payable in connection with a prize, and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner; SPONSOR AND OPENFORTUNE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AND WILL NOT PAY ANY SUCH TAXES.
6. ODDS: The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
7. WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION, AND VERIFICATION: On or about September 15, 2026, the Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries timely received to select one (1) potential winner and three (3) alternate potential winners per prize, for a total of five (5) potential prize winners and fifteen (15) alternate potential winners. Sponsor will notify each potential winner via email within approximately seven (7) days following the drawing. Each potential winner must respond within five (5) days of Sponsor’s transmission of the notification email, otherwise the potential winner will be disqualified.
Before awarding any prize, Sponsor may require a potential winner to submit a signed affidavit of eligibility and liability release; a completed Form W-9 or other appropriate tax form; and, where permitted by applicable law, a publicity release that, among other things, will allow Sponsor and OpenFortune to use such potential winner’s name, photograph, likeness, prize information, and biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, and without notice to, or prior review or approval from, such potential winner (collectively, “Prize Award Documents”). All Prize Award Documents must be returned within ten (10) days of receipt from Sponsor.
If a potential winner is disqualified due to failure to timely respond to Sponsor’s notification or for failure or refusal to sign and return Prize Award Documents, the prize may be awarded to an alternate potential winner. For each prize, Sponsor will attempt to contact three (3) alternate potential winners in the order drawn. If none of the three (3) alternate potential winners can be contacted or is eligible due to failure to timely return Prize Award Documents or otherwise, that prize will remain un-awarded.
Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email or social media account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or any potential winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email or social media account. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any potential winner should such potential winner be in violation of these Official Rules as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
8. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering the Sweepstakes or receiving any prize, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless BEIS, OpenFortune, and each of such party’s subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, employees, officers, directors, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion; (2) any lost or misdirected mail, or any technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of misuse of any prize. Entrant agrees to release and hold each of the Released Parties harmless from any and all consequences, liability, losses, damages (including without limitation, consequential, punitive, incidental, special or increased damages and those related to personal injury, death or damage to property) and costs and expenses, of any kind, under any legal theory, arising from or related to this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to entrant's entry and participation in this Sweepstakes, the acceptance and/or use (or misuse) of any prize, printing errors, or any claims based upon rights of publicity, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Sponsor and the other Released Parties are not responsible for any fraud or misconduct on the part of the entrants. Should an entrant engage in fraud or misconduct of any nature, including but not limited to a violation of these Official Rules, that participant is subject to immediate disqualification from the Sweepstakes and perhaps future Sponsor promotions. Sponsor reserves the right to seek civil or criminal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law against any individual who attempts to tamper with or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, if feasible; if not feasible (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), entrant shall have no remedy or recourse against Sponsor or any other Released Parties whatsoever. In the event that production, technical, programming or any other reasons cause more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed (i.e., more than five (5) prizes), BEIS reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes (i.e., five (5) prizes) by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this Section 8 shall be construed to release or limit any liability of the Released Parties that cannot be released or limited as a matter of law, including any liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or violations of applicable consumer-protection statutes. If any portion of this Section 8 is held unenforceable, the remainder shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
9. DISCLAIMER: Sponsor and OpenFortune make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding your participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize of any kind. The Sweepstakes, the prizes, and all materials provided on or through the Sweepstakes are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. CONDITIONS: If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes (or any part thereof) is not capable of running as planned due to causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor—including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, government order, natural disaster, fire, flood, technical failures, or any other cause that, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes—Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date of the Sweepstakes Entry Period, Sponsor may, at its discretion, conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the time of such event to award the prizes, or take any other action deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.
11. PRIVACY AND USE OF SWEEPSTAKES INFORMATION: Sponsor collects personal information from you when you enter this Sweepstakes. All entrant information is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Sponsor’s Privacy Policy is available online, at https://beistravel.com/pages/privacy-policy. Sponsor reserves the right to use any information collected in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant's consent to Sponsor’s use of entrant's name, likeness, biographical information, and all or a part of entrant's entry for promotional purposes in any media without payment or consideration, and without notice to, or prior review or approval from, entrant.
Notice of Financial Incentive (California residents): This Sweepstakes is a “financial incentive” under the California Consumer Privacy Act because we are giving entrants something in exchange for the collection and retention of their personal information. The value of such personal information is related to the value we offer to entrants for participation in the Sweepstakes and varies based on several factors, including whether entrants respond to marketing offers from us or subsequently opt out, as well as our costs associated with administering the Sweepstakes. Sponsor estimates the value of an entrant’s personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes to be approximately equal to Sponsor’s per-entry administrative cost, which Sponsor in good faith estimates at less than one U.S. dollar ($1.00) per entrant. Participation is voluntary, and you may opt out of the Sweepstakes at any time by emailing Sponsor at legal@beachhousegrp.com.
12. CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION: Sweepstakes official rules and the rights and obligations of BEIS and participants will be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to any choice of law principles. All actions, proceedings or litigation relating hereto will be instituted solely within the state and federal courts located in the City and County of San Francisco, State of California. Each entrant hereby agrees and irrevocably consents to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts for any and all claims arising from or related to this Agreement.
13. MANDATORY ARBITRATION AND CLASS-ACTION WAIVER: Except for disputes seeking equitable or injunctive relief regarding intellectual property, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes, these Official Rules, or any prize awarded hereunder (a “Dispute”) shall be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS pursuant to its Streamlined Arbitration Rules then in effect, before a single arbitrator. The arbitration shall be seated in Los Angeles County, California, and conducted in English. THE PARTIES EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, AND THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS OR PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING. The arbitrator’s award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Entrant may opt out of this Section 13 by sending written notice to legal@beachhousegrp.com within thirty (30) days of entry; opting out shall not affect any other provision of these Official Rules. This Section 13 is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and shall survive termination of the Sweepstakes.
14. SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR: Sponsor is responsible for the collection, submission and processing of entries and the overall administration and execution of the Sweepstakes. Entrants should look solely to Sponsor by using the email address legal@beachhousegrp.com with any questions, comments or problems related to the Sweepstakes, including winners lists. WINNERS LIST: For a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to BEIS, Attn: BEIS x OpenFortune Sweepstakes Winners List, 222 Pacific Coast Highway, 10th Fl, El Segundo, CA 90245 USA, to be received no later than December 31, 2026.
